Accessibility

Ruth Studio wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we have done

• Photos have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Every link and button can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
• Text and buttons are checked for color contrast.
• Pages adapt to phones and tablets, and text can be zoomed.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, the welcome animation is skipped and the animated heading appears without movement.
• The background video on the home page has no sound and carries no information.
• The opening promotion window can be closed with the close button, the Escape key, or by tapping outside it.

Known limitations

• Booking happens through WhatsApp or your phone's messaging app, which we do not control. If either is hard for you to use, you can call or email us instead.
• Google Maps, which opens from the directions button, has its own accessibility features and limits.
